Meerhof Lodge is a charming four star Lodge with self catering cottages. It has beautiful views over the water and onto the Magaliesberg mountains. The Lodge is situated opposite the Bird Sanctuary and offers wonderful bird life.

Cottages range from one to five bedroom units with lounge and kitchens, DSTV, air conditioning units and tea/coffee stations allowing for families and groups of various sizes to enjoy time-out in Harties.

We offer conferencing facilities for up to 30 delegates. The gardens have private bomas with braai/dining facilities as well as splash pools.

Meerhof Lodge is situated in the ‘Heart’ of Hartbeespoort or the Magalies Valley. Game Parks, Health spas and a great variety of activities all within 20-30 minutes drive from the Lodge.

Rooms :

Bayview

Bayview Unit has five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower. All rooms have double beds and the family room has an additional two single beds. Bayview can be used for one large group or the rooms can be let individually. All rooms have DSTV, fridge, tea/coffee stations and air conditioning units. One of the rooms has a fire place. There is a large lounge with fire place and fully equipped kitchen. Balconies in front offer great views over the water and surrounding mountains.

Manor House

The Manor House is full of character and set in a private garden, this thatched house has 4 en-suite bedrooms, two with double beds and two with twin beds. There is a lounge with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The garden has a private boma with braai/dining area and splash pool,there is also a lapa with pool table.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage –a heritage cottage which was on Boer war Gen Hendrik Schoemans farm. Thatched with two bedrooms ( one with double and other twin singles ( or king), lounge with DStv. All air conditioned. Kitchen and bathroom with tub and separate shower. Private garden with boma and braai. Private garden shower for two. Jacuzzi splash pool ( heated in summer). Secured parking for two cars.

Waterfront Unit's

These units have one bedroom each and are all fully equipped, there is a private garden with braai facilities looking over the dam and surrounding mountains.
