Ponciana is an AA Superior Quality Assured **** Luxury Guesthouse and is situated in Ifafi on the top of the hill which gives us a magnificent view over the Hartbeespoortdam surrounded by the Magalies Mountain Range.

The 3 spacious en-suite rooms and 2 suites are the combination of the African feeling with high European luxury standards. Belgian hospitality combined with a delicious champagne buffet breakfast in the morning enjoying a fantastic view, service and luxury facilities makes Ponciana Guesthouse the place to stay.

Only 1 hour from Johannesburg OR Tambo, 25 km from Pretoria and very close to Brits, Pelindaba, Gerotec Test Circuit and Lanseria Airport Ponciana Guesthouse is perfectly located for tourists and business people. Sun City and Pilanesberg National Park with the Big 5 are only  at 1 hour drive and there are a lot of things to do in and around the Magalies Mountains and Hartbeespoortdam.

Rooms :

Ponciana Guesthouse is a completely new accommodation with 5 newly built Guestrooms. All our rooms are individually theme in a typical South African style.

So we offer you a stay in ‘the Secret Garden Room’ – ‘the Vineyard Room’ – ‘the Sea View’ – ‘the Wild Bush Suite’ or in the ‘Ponciana Suite’.

The luxury rooms all have a private entrance and en-suite bathrooms with douche, toilet and wash-stands. Upon your arrival you will find towels in the room. All rooms have direct access to the wonderful garden with borders and flowers. There are also several palm trees which offer the possibility to relax around the swimming pool.

• Secret Garden
  This room refers to the Garden Route. You should feel at home in the landscape of the rough coastline, surrounded by the rainforest, the blue lagoons, the capriciously mountains and the hills with the colourful ‘fynbos’.

• Vineyard
  In this room you can dream and travel through the valleys with the vineyards, East of the Cape, with the mountains at the background.

• Sea View
  This room gives you the peace of the lonely idyllic beaches in the middle of the powerful ocean waves lashing the rocks.

• Wild Bush Suite
  In this room you will enjoy the real African feeling and you can dream about the great expeditions on the African continent.

• Ponciana Suite
  This is our VIP room – the biggest room with a separate terrace and view of the lake and the Magalies Mountains. The luxury bathroom has a luxury bath and douche.
